The goal of the Creative Collective is to invite area Creatives to come a share a space together where artistry is grown and shared.
Here at the Columbus Arts Council, we believe in the importance of artistic communities because of the power Creatives have in feeding the creativity of other Creatives. When artists share creative spaces with one another, an energy is produced that helps push artists and their work to new boundaries. Artists inspire, challenge, and provide spaces of understanding for each other that can influence an artist and their work.
Bring a project you are currently working on and its supplies to the Columbus Arts Council gallery. From 5:00 - 7:30 PM you will have the opportunity to work independently alongside other practicing artists in our area. This event allows you a set time in your week for you to create, a community to build relationships with other artists, and a space to get constructive feedback and inspiration.
